Ms. Shirley Ann Carroll was born on February 26, 1955, in Mount Olive, Mississippi to Annie Louise McCullum and Lloyd Carroll, Jr. She moved to Saint Petersburg, Florida as a young child and later attended Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1972, Shirley married Ellis Owens and from this union, they raised four children. Fishing and card playing were a few of her favorite pastimes. Shirley had a deep passion for collecting dolls, figurines, and other collectible items. She was a long-time Certified Nursing Assistant. She departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2021. Her father Lloyd Jr., mother Louse, son Ellis Owens, Jr., sisters Ruby Neil and Gloria Jean and a grandson Contaz preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish here memories... Son: Michael Anthony Carroll; Daughters: Venus Michelle Owens (Gregory) and Deanna Owens Pearson (Jacob); Brothers: Lloyd Carroll, III, Lee Daniel Carroll and Stanley Jerome Carroll; Sisters: Stacy and Tracy Carroll; Aunts: May Francies Floyd, Nancy Jo Newsome (Percy) and Mary Stewart; Nieces: Patricia Cruz (Daniel), Amber Carroll, Constance Carroll and Chyna Carroll; Nephews: Patrick Jones, Stanley Carroll, Jr., Christopher Lee Carroll and Devon Carroll; Companion: George McCray; and Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren along with a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
